Dedicated to teaching Karate in the traditional manner, following the teachings of Master Gichin Funakoshi and Tsutomu Ohshima, Shihan. Our dojo is affiliated with Shotokan Karate of America (SKA), a national nonprofit organization teaching traditional Karate- Do since 1956.

FAQ
What is the age range for kids practice? Kids ages 8-12 learn the fundamentals of traditional karate. We learn Kihon (basics) and Kata (forms) and play games. Kumite (sparring)
offered based on level and interest for kids 10 and older.
What will it cost to practice? There are no term based contracts. A portion of the fee- $15 per class, $60 per month (unlimited) or $150 for three months (unlimited),
goes to Willow, a local domestic violence center that has offered advocacy and services to the Greater Rochester area for 40+ years.
Do I need experience? Beginners are always welcome. First class is complimentary. Please wear a T- shirt and comfortable bottoms.
